Dave Graham finalmente encadena La Rambla 9a+ en Siurana

Dave Graham finalmente encadenó la emblemática ruta de Siurana, La Rambla 9a+, una vía que viene siguiendo desde hace mucho tiempo, en 2007 se reunieron Mutantes bajo La Rambla y desde ahí Dave la apuntó a sus proyectos.

Two weeks ago I climbed the legendary La Rambla [9a+] here in Siurana 👐 After spending the majority of my time in the boulders over the last ten years its hard to describe how awesome it feels to climb a long hard route again 🤯 It was real meditative which was particularly intriguing, and got me super inspired climb more routes in this style!!! After a couple weeks of unseasonably hot weather which produced some rather dismal attempts, that magic Siurana wind returned, and I unexpectedly found myself climbing through the final crux 🤗 Stay tuned for a some more pictures and the raw Iphone send footy, as well as some proper story telling about the ascent 🤙 Time to stay focused on La Capella [9b] and my other rogue projects in the sector 😬 Only ten days left 😅😅😅@fiveten_official @petzl_official @adidasterrex @climb_up_officiel @frictionlabs @sendclimbing @climbskinspain @alizee_dufraisse 😘📷@pablo_benedito

Graham estuvo probando la ruta con Alizee Dufraisse, quien también la tiene a punto de caer. Graham comenta en su perfil de Instagram «Fue realmente meditativo y particularmente intrigante, me inspiró escalar más rutas en este estilo.» Otras rutas de 9a+ realizadas por Dave Graham son; Thor’s Hammer, Realization y Coup de Grace.

Graham estaba en Siurana el 2003 cuando Puigblanque encadenó La Rambla 9a+, y aseguró a Sharma en su repetición en 2006, y en 2017 estuvo a punto de encadenarlo junto a Dani Andrada.

🔴 Huge congrats to David (@dave_graham_) who yesterday clipped one of his hardest chains: La Rambla (9a+) in the Spanish climbing mecca of Siurana!! 💪🔝 It happened that I was at the right place while shooting my friend @piotr_schab who recently did an impressively fast ascent of this route while Dave and Alizée were also trying the route, so I had the chance to meet such inspiring and strong climbers! All I can say is that Dave is one of the most fanatic climbers I've ever met, always chatting at the crag about moves, holes and conditions!!
